Seamless Android App Connectivity
Download the Android client app, then follow the instructions below to enable developer options and debugging for support.
Android Client
Install on the customer's Fire TV, streaming stick, or Android device. Enter the support code from your technician to register.

APKBridge needs Developer Options and ADB/USB Debugging enabled before a technician can connect to the device.
Only approve debugging access for a technician you trust. When the device shows an authorization message, check the computer name or connection request before selecting Allow.
Android Phones and Tablets
Step 1: Open the device information
- Open Settings.
- Select About phone or About tablet.
- Find Build number.
Samsung: Settings -> About phone -> Software information -> Build number
Android menu names can differ slightly depending on the device manufacturer.
Step 2: Enable Developer Options
- Tap Build number seven times.
- Enter the device PIN, password, or pattern if requested.
- A message should appear saying: You are now a developer!
Step 3: Enable USB Debugging
- Return to Settings.
- Select System.
- Select Developer options. You may need to select Advanced first.
- Turn on USB debugging in the Debugging section.
- Select Allow or OK when prompted.

Android TV, Google TV, and ONN Devices
Step 1: Find the build information
- Open Settings from the home screen.
- Select System or Device Preferences.
- Select About.
- Find Build, Android TV OS build, or Build number.
Step 2: Enable Developer Options
- Highlight the build option.
- Press OK/Select seven times on the remote.
- Wait for: You are now a developer!
Step 3: Enable Debugging
- Go back to Settings.
- Open Developer options.
- Turn on USB debugging or ADB debugging.
- Select Allow or OK.
Amazon Fire TV and Fire Stick
When Developer Options are visible
- Open Settings.
- Select My Fire TV or Device & Software.
- Open Developer Options.
- Turn on ADB Debugging.
When Developer Options are missing
- Open Settings -> My Fire TV -> About.
- Highlight the device name and press OK/Select seven times.
- Go back, open Developer Options, and turn on ADB Debugging.

Approve the First Connection
When prompted with Allow USB debugging?, select Always allow from this computer and then Allow only for trusted support.
What to Confirm
Developer Options are enabled and ADB/USB Debugging is on.
